Sit back and enjoy a taste of fall with this microwave apple crisp for one! This easy recipe cooks in only 2 1/2 minutes.
There was an apple tree in my backyard when I was growing up. We used to help my mom collect the apples, peel and slice them and she would put them in the freezer.
During the winter, she would take out a container of frozen apple slices and make microwave apple crisp! That memory inspired me to make this microwavable single serving apple crisp!
How To Make Microwave Apple Crisp
Step One:
Peel and slice an apple.
Put the apple slices into a greased ramekin. Set aside.
Step Two:
Put flour, brown sugar and butter into a bowl.
Cut in the butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Step Three:
Stir in the oats, cinnamon, and allspice.
Pour over the sliced apples in the ramekin.
Step Four:
Microwave on high for about 2 1/2 minutes, until apples are tender.
Top with a drizzle of caramel, if desired.
Super easy to make with ingredients already in your pantry and so delicious all year long!

Delicious!! We had one big honeycrisp apple left so we split this recipe between two small ramekins and it was the perfect amount. Will definitely save this as our new go to recipe!

Hi I tried this but it didn’t turn out I left it in longer bc I didn’t think the apples were cooked enough.
The crisp burnt a bit.
Maybe the power level was too high? But I don’t know how to change it.
Thanks
Cindy
