A pepperoni skillet pizza with a chocolate chip cookie pizza for dessert is the perfect meal. It’s easy to pull off both dinner and dessert on a weeknight.

My family’s favorite weekend food is pizza! A couple of weeks ago, I called a local pizza restaurant and order pizza for carry-out (I was going to pick it up instead of having it delivered.)
They told me it wouldn’t be ready for 45 minutes! So, this past week, with the help of Betty Crocker, I made my family a delicious pizza meal, complete with dessert in about 30 minutes.
I made a Bisquick Pepperoni Skillet Pizza and a Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza.
This pizza dinner and dessert was so easy to pull off that it can be made any night of the week!
The reason that our pizza dinner was so fast is that I used Original Bisquick Mix for the pizza crust and Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix for the cookie pizza.
To make the Pepperoni Skillet Pizza, start by making the crust. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add the Original Bisquick Mix, shredded cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and olive oil.
Mix well and turn onto the counter that is sprinkled with Original Bisquick Mix. Knead the dough for about two minutes.
Press into a well greased oven-safe 12 inch skillet (if you do not have an oven safe skillet, you can use a casserole dish).
Top with pizza sauce, shredded cheese, pepperoni and oregano. Bake at 500 degrees for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Melt two tablespoons of butter in the microwave and stir in one teaspoon of garlic powder.
Brush the edges of the pizza with the garlic butter before serving.
While the pizza is cooking in the oven, mix together one package of Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, softened butter and an egg.
Press the cookie dough into a well greased oven-safe 12 inch skillet (if you do not have an oven safe skillet, you can use a casserole dish or deep dish pie pan).
When the pizza comes out of the oven, turn the heat down to 375 degrees and bake the chocolate chip cookie pizza for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
My family loved both the Pepperoni Skillet Pizza and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza. I will definitely be making them again soon. It was so easy to pull off both dinner and dessert on a weeknight with the help of Betty!

It was very good. I did bake the crust before I put the topping on for about 5 min. And half the time I had it on the bottom rack in the oven. I was afraid it wouldn’t be done and I definitely didn’t want dough not done!
