This easy Turkey Tenderloin only takes 5 minutes to prep and bakes in 30 minutes! You can make it year-round, as well as for Thanksgiving.
An oven-roasted turkey tenderloin is the perfect alternative to a full-size turkey or even a turkey breast! It’s already thawed and available all year. You can add your favorite seasonings, and it cooks quickly!
Tonia’s Notes
Last week, I went to the grocery store to get a turkey to do some recipe testing, but I could only find frozen turkeys that would take hours to thaw and bake. I didn’t have hours to wait, so I spent some time searching the grocery store for alternatives and found the turkey tenderloins!
My favorite part of a turkey is the turkey breast, and that turkey tenderloin is a boneless, skinless portion of a turkey breast. I was delighted at how easy it was to make and loved how it turned out, so I had to share my recipe!
How To Make
Seasonings
Put the olive oil, rosemary, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, kosher salt, onion powder, black pepper, and ground sage in a small bowl and stir to combine.
Prep Meat
Place the turkey tenderloin in a greased casserole dish and spread the seasoning mixture over the meat. You can spread it on both sides if you prefer.
Bake
Bake it in the oven at 400˚F for 27-32 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165˚F. Allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Make Ahead and Storage Tips
- Make Ahead: You can prepare this dish ahead of time! Add the seasonings, tightly cover the casserole dish with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight.
- Storage: Place the leftover turkey tenderloin in an airtight container and store it in the fridge for 3-4 days or in the freezer for up to a month.
- Reheat: Allow frozen leftovers to thaw in the fridge overnight. Reheat the turkey in the microwave, oven, or skillet.
