Tonia’s Notes
Our favorite thing at Texas Roadhouse is the dinner rolls with whipped honey cinnamon butter! My sister-in-law makes the spread for our holiday dinners, and it’s so good. So, I made this copycat recipe that I can whip up whenever I want.
This butter is smooth and creamy and melts on warm rolls, scones, bread, and breakfast dishes. You can also make it ahead of time and store it in the freezer!
How To Make
Measure Ingredients
Put the softened butter, powdered sugar, honey, heavy cream, ground cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl.
Whip Until Smooth
Start by mixing at a low speed until combined, and then whip the butter at a high speed until it is light and fluffy.
Make Ahead and Storage
- Make Ahead: You can make cinnamon honey butter ahead of time to take one thing off your to-do list!
- Refrigerator: Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
- Freezer: You can store it in a freezer-safe container for 3-4 months.
- Soften: Allow frozen cinnamon butter to thaw in the fridge overnight. Then, remove it from the fridge to soften at room temperature for 30-60 minutes before serving.
- Re-Whip: You can re-whip the butter once it softens to get the airy texture again.
Ways to Use
