Hot Honey Baked Ham Ingredients
To make this baked ham recipe, you’ll need ham, hot honey, sugar, butter, and seasonings. Scroll down for the complete recipe with ingredient measurements.
- Ham: You’ll need a fully cooked, bone-in ham that is 6-8 pounds. It can be a regular, unsliced ham or a spiral-cut one. The one we used for this post was partially spiral cut.
- Hot Honey: Hot honey adds sweetness and spice to the glaze. You can make your own hot honey or use store-bought.
- Brown Sugar: The brown sugar adds flavor and sweetness and helps the glaze caramelize.
- Butter: We used melted butter to thin the glaze and add flavor.
- Seasonings: For seasonings, we added ground mustard, ground cinnamon, chili powder, ground cloves, and ground ginger.
How To Make Hot Honey Baked Ham
A baked ham is one of the easiest holiday dishes to make! All you need to do is prep the ham by scoring it, coat it with the glaze, and bake it in the oven. Scroll down for the printable recipe card and complete instructions.
- Score: Remove the ham from the plastic wrapper and score it by making 1/2-inch deep cuts in it. If your ham is spiral-cut already, you can skip this step.
- Glaze: Mix the glaze ingredients together and spread half of the mixture over the ham.
- Bake: Bake the ham in the oven and remove it a couple of times to add more glaze.
