A Pedicure In A Jar is a cute mason jar gift filled with a foot soak, sugar scrub, foot lotion, and mini pedicure supplies!
Earlier this summer, I went on an annual girlfriend’s getaway weekend. I have been friends with the ladies I went with for most of our lives, and my friends are truly a gift from God.
Life gets so busy, and there were a few years when we didn’t see much of each other. Finally, we decided to plan a yearly getaway for just us girls so that we would be sure to make time to stay connected. We’ve been going on these getaways for 13 years now.
So far, we haven’t gone anywhere that involves an airplane, but we keep promising that it will happen one of these days. I wanted to give my friends a small gift just for fun and decided to make a Pedicure In A Jar.
What You’ll Find In This Post
Pedicure In A Jar Supplies
The supplies needed to make the mason jar gift are basic:
- mason jar
- small containers
- pedicure tools
- ribbon
- labels
- spa treatments
I used a vintage pint-sized mason jar, Spare Parts plastic storage tubes from Hobby Lobby, nail care tools from Trim, and chevron print burlap ribbon from Hobby Lobby.
Fill Spa Treatment Containers
Fill the three plastic containers with spa treatments. One for soaking feet, one for scrubbing feet, and one for softening feet. You can use treatments that you purchased from the store (a foot soak, a foot scrub, and a good lotion), or you can make your own, which is what I did. Here are the recipes:

Add Labels
Print the labels to whatever size you need for your containers. Download the free printable labels here:

Cut out the labels and glue them to the containers.
Fill the Mason Jar
Remove the nail care set from the package and fill the mason jar with all of the supplies.
Decorate the Pedicure In A Jar
Add some ribbon to the top of the mason jar, and it is ready to go!
Frequently Asked Questions
You can add any pedicure items you want! But depending on how many things you add, you may need a bigger jar.
I bought them at various places. Check the beauty section and the travel-size toiletries of your department store to see what they have available.
No, I only provide the instructions for how you can make them.

Very cute idea! You could also print your labels on sticker sheets instead of glueing the labels on. Thanks for your idea.

Love, love, love these!! ๐ You are amazing! Wondering what size jars were used for the gifts in a jar?
Thank you! ๐
Tonia says
Hey Lisa! Thanks so much! The size of the jar you choose will depend on the size of the items you plan to put in it. For the pedicure in a jar, I used the 16 oz (pint) size. For the spa in a jar, I used the 32 oz (quart) size jars. Best of luck! ~Tonia

Hi, Tonia. I absolutely love these! I want to try and make the foot scrubs. I was wondering if there was a specific way to store the scrubs. Room temperature or fridge? Thanks!
Tonia says
I store it at room temperature as I do with my coconut oil. Best of luck!
