These free printable Valentine cards for kids are perfect for an exchange. Simply print the cards, cut them out, and add some candy!
Whether your kids have a classroom card exchange or a Valentine’s Day party, these printable cards make it easy! We want to give Valentines to our nieces and nephews, so we created these printables instead of buying them from the store.
You Make My Heart Go Tic Tac
Tic Tac candies come in so many different flavors and colors. The pink and red Strawberries and Cream Tic Tacs are perfect for the printable Valentine’s Day cards that say You Make My Heart Go Tic Tac.
If you can’t find the strawberries and cream flavor, try the tropical or fruit adventure packs. For a non-food option, a mini game of tic tac toe would be perfect!
We Were Mint To Be Friends
York Peppermint Patties are a great option for the cards that say We Were Mint To Be Friends. You can use any minty candies, such as Starlight mints, Lifesavers, Junior Mints, Mentos, or Andes mints.
If you want a non-candy treat, try spinning tops (they look like the image on the card), peppermint stickers, or mint lip balm.
You Make My Heart Burst
Starburst was our first choice for the cards that say You Make My Heart Burst! You can find them in small packs of two, individually wrapped, convenience store packs, and even Starburst Minis.
If you don’t want to use Starburst, try bubble gum or Pop Rocks. For a non-food treat, use balloons or bubbles because they both burst!
You Are O-Fish-Ally Awesome
This printable Valentine card for kids features a red fish and says You Are O-Fish-Ally Awesome. We added chewy Swedish Fish for the candy, but Trader Joe’s Scandinavian Swimmers would also work.
For a non-candy version, use Goldfish, and for a non-food option, plastic toy fish or fish stickers are fun!
I Chews You
You can add any type of bubble gum to the exchange cards that say I Chews You! Pink packs of Bubble Yum or Bubble Tape are the perfect size and color.
Kids would love getting mini gumball machines or jumbo gumballs. For a non-candy option, use bubble gum-scented pencils or stickers!
You’re Beary Special
Individual packs of gummi bears pair well with the Valentines exchange cards that say You’re Beary Special. If the small packs aren’t available, you can purchase a large bag of gummy bears and divide them into small plastic baggies.
Choose mini stuffed teddy bears, gummy bear pencil toppers, or gummy bear charms for a non-candy option.
You’re A Real Gem
Kids love Rings Pops, and they match the cards that say You’re A Real Gem! They come in lots of different colors and flavors.
You could also use Jolly Ranchers since they look like colorful gems. For a non-food option, add large toy gems or plastic rings.
I’m A Sucker For You
A heart-shaped lollipop, also known as a sucker, is the perfect fit for the cards that say I’m A Sucker For You! Big box stores sell lots of different brands before Valentine’s Day.
If you need a last-minute option, any kind of lollipop will work! If you need a non-food option, try heart erasers or sticker sheets.
